The project concerned the upgrading works of the Ancipa-Blufi Water Supply System through the construction of a new carbon-steel pipeline (Ø 600 mm, 11 mm thick) in the stretch from the link with the doubling of Olivo aqueduct to Salvatorello divider, for a length of 11.633 km, alongside the old pipeline (Ø 400 mm). There are two crossings with jacking technique at interference with SS561 and SS117 National Roads.
The works comprised the following:
- 5 river crossings
- 33 vent shafts and 34 drainage shafts
- cathodic protection system.
The welding works have been checked according to UNI EN 10224-2004 and UNI 7278/74.
