Bridge Information Management System BIMS

Bridge Information Management System BIMS is a dedicated software developed by Sering Int. for the Operation and  Maintenance of all 223 bridges in Muscat  Governorate. The system is a complete data base containing all technical information and current  structural conditions necessary to develop the  Operational and Maintenance Program.

Defects Manual

Sering Int. prepared a Defects Manual tailored on Client’s need starting from the following considerations:

• Potential defects that could affect the bridges in Muscat Directorate
• Data collection from wide international bibliography

Design of Remedial Works

Sering Int. developed the following activities

• Ordinary maintenance works are required on 140 bridges out of a total of 223.
• For 103 bridges, the design of the remedial works consists in typical design drawings and specific work design (for 45 bridges).
• For 37 bridges, indications about routine inspection procedures have been specifically explained.
