Technicians of Sering collaborated to the supervision of soil remediation works of the uncontrolled waste disposal of Borgo Montello (LT-Italy). Due to the volume of the waste interested by the remediation it was chosen to leave the material on site. The risk of water and soil pollution was strongly reduced with the construction of a slurry wall 1.5 km long and 20 m deep. During construction it was necessary to control the quality of the material used and the respect of the design barrier characteristics . Material tests and permeability test on the functionality of the works were carried out.
