Tawaian to Dibba Highway – UAE
The Tawaian – Dibba Freeway runs through a mountainous area dissected by several wadi systems. Between Ch 9+400 and Ch 24+800 a series of cut slopes, ranging in height between 8 m and 15 m have experienced a range of failures in terms of their types and size. These range from individual benches to entire cut slope failures.
Sering carried out the review: of the conditions of the existing slope cuts and the design of the protection works The remedial works have been designed on the basis of the observation of the slope stability behavior in the period after the completion of excavation work and on the basis of the geotechnical survey (Observational Approach).
