Khasab is a mountainous land with numerous fiords where a natural harbour has always given shelter from the rough sea.
Khasab port is located inside the main fiord in front of Khasab village protected by two breakwaters with a total length of 1015 meters. The western area is dedicated to commercial activities, including the ferry terminal, while the eastern area is dedicated to the fishery harbour.
The scope of design services developed by Sering International comprises identification and inspection of assets in the Port, providing repair works for the armour of breakwaters, maintenance of harbour buildings and maritime facilities, upgrade of power supply and light systems, installation of new fire-fighting system.
