The overall objective of this project is to construct a sports city in Al Musannaah, South Batinah Governorate on a land extending over 1,014,348 m². The main facilities can be divided into different zones: Sports fields for conducting international level games; Sports fields for conducting various training facilities; Public Entertainments zone consists of Recreation centre, Health Club, Ice Skating, Halls for conducting cultural events; the building for rental purpose to run shops of high quality, branded items, Fast food etc.; area for investment such as Hypermarket etc.

The design aspects taken into account regard the football stadium facilities, including all other supporting facilities like roads, water supply, electrical supply, boundary (wall / fencing).

The main work is the Football Stadium with seating capacity not less than 25.000 for public, 2000 for VIPs and 100 for VVIPs. This stadium will have natural grassed football pitch, eight lane synthetic tracks for conducting all field events.

MEP activities included: Design of Media facilities; live telecast facility; Commentator rooms; LED score board with IAAF approved time keeping facilities; wind monitoring facilities; false start system; photo finish system etc.. The flood light will be given a minimum lux level of 2000 including track area. A Practice pitch with automatic irrigation and flood light having average 700 lux.

All design activities have been approved by the Client.
