Among the objectives set by the Central Transport Corridor Project (CTCP) in order to update the strategic road links of tanzania, the Singida-Shelui Road road assumes a prominent role. This road, 110 km long. leads from the region’s headquarters, to the border of the Tabora Region.
The project involves the design and construction of several new works:
- 6 bridges along Kikungo River Variant
- 6 bridge for Igununo By-pass (Munyu River)
- 1 bridge near Misiti (Munyu river)
- 130 box culverts
