The project involved the design and construction supervision of the Business and First Class lounges for Oman Air, the national carrier, located in the new Muscat International Airport. The activities were carried out in collaboration with Exclusiva during 2017–18.

The interiors reflect a harmonious blend of Italian elegance and craftsmanship with cultural and natural references to Oman, such as deserts, oases, and wadis. The lounges are characterized by fluid, dynamic spaces enhanced by local materials, modern reinterpretations of Mashrabiya, and a color palette that distinguishes the golden luminosity of the First Class lounge from the warm hues of the Business Class lounge. The custom-designed furniture, enriched with pieces from prestigious Italian brands, combines aesthetics and functionality with premium finishes, such as high-quality marble and bronzed brass details.

From a technical standpoint, advanced systems ensure both comfort and sustainability. Integrated lighting, sophisticated climate control, and immersive spaces such as the “Water Room” create unique atmospheres, while a rational organization of operational areas guarantees efficiency and practicality.

Construction supervision meticulously managed the entire process, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring excellence in finishes, and achieving perfect integration between design and systems. The result is an exclusive environment that celebrates Omani hospitality through Italian mastery and style.
